Contemporary Take on the Classic White Shirt for Spring

One of the most classic pieces anyone can have in their closet is a white button down shirt. For Spring, these are some of my favorite modern takes on the classic white button down that will serve as a great transitional piece as the weather gets warmer. Roll your sleeves up and french tuck it into a high-waisted pair of culottes or wear it more formally with a fun printed skirt. There’s really not many pieces more versatile. Check out some of my picks below.

I love this shirt so much. It’s airy and light, the perfect transitional piece. It’s still traditional enough to wear to the office making it a great go-to for work in the warmer months.

I love the utility look. The masculine touches of the large pockets make this a great casual shirt you can throw on with just about everything. It’s perfect with skinny jeans and ballet flats on the weekend.

This shirt has short sleeves! But they’re not too short. I love that it has short sleeves for the warmer months, but it still has a very classic silhouette making it great to even throw on under a blazer if you’re not quite ready for short sleeves yet!
