Last weekend, Dave and I had the pleasure of staying at the newly renovated Delta Hotels by Marriott Basking Ridge. It’s only about a half hour away from me, but I don’t often spend time in this area so it was a welcome getaway and chance to enjoy more of the Garden State! Not all trips have to be far, I enjoy spending time in other NJ towns and trying out new restaurants, shops, etc!
You could tell their rooms were newly renovated. I loved their linens and modern furniture.
We enjoyed dinner at their on-site restaurant Trading Post. The pretzel was delicious and just what we needed after a long day! We followed up with the chicken and the burger! They have a full bar where we got some wine and then we took our wine to their outdoor patio. The patio has 2 firepits and we spent the remainder of the evening cuddled up chatting by the fire!
Though we didn’t sit in their lounge area, I think it would be a great spot to catch up with friends!
The next morning we spent on the main street in Basking Ridge where we got bagels, coffee, and did a little shopping. My favorite little boutique Soul Sisters is actually owned by 3 local sisters (girl power)!
